I had the honor to be included alongside some great comrades from the 7K or Strike campaign for
an interview in Left Voice. The public university is specific in many ways, including the complex stratification of its workforce and the ideology among many proletarianized educators that they are not "workers." However I believe the lessons from the successes and failures of our efforts, chronicled in this piece, have a fairly broad range of application. Keep an eye on CUNY!
